The Scenario of Leadership of Thai Female Primary School Administrators in The Next Decade (2014-2024)

Abstract

       The objective of this study was to investigate the scenario of leadership of Thai female primary school administrators in the next decade (2014-2024) utilizing the EDFR process (Ethnographic Delphi Futures Research). Data were collected 3 rounds from 4 groups of qualifid experts consisting of 7 senior administrators, 7 academics, 8 school administrators and 4 leaders organization working for female and youth; a total of 26 experts. In round 1: the open ended interviews were administered. In round 2 and 3, the instruments utilized were 5 rating scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed and synthesized by considering the results from a median. The consistency was considered from the difference between mode and median and inter quartiles range. The items were then grouped into the scenario of leadership of Thai female primary school administrators in the next decade (2014-2024). The fidings revealed as fallow: The trends of the leadership of Thai female administrators in starting point consisting of 1) 6 leaderships aspects, namely; 1.1) Trait & Skills aspect, consisting of 28 items. 1.2) Behavioral aspect, consisting of 20 items. 1.3) Situations aspect, consisting of 20 items. 1.4) Relationship aspect, consisting of 15 items. 1.5) Change aspect, consisting of 20 items and 1.6) Emerging aspect, consisting of 16 items 2) guidelines for strengthening and developing the leadership of Thai female administrators consisting of 21 items. The Experts had consensus that all of items level were high necessary. This researcher synthesis all items in Thai mind and grouping, there for the trends of the leadership of Thai female administrators in the context of Thailand consisted of 1) 3 leaderships aspects, namely; 1.1) Thai Female Leadership aspect, consisting of 18 items. 1.2) Thai Leadership aspect, consisting of 17 items and 1.3) Administrative Leadership aspect, consisting of 6 leadership groups, in each group consisted of 1.2.1) The Attribute and Expertise group, consisting of 20 items, 1.2.2) Administrative Behaviors group, consisting of 17 items, 1.2.3) According to the Situation group, consisting of 11 items, 1.2.4) Relationship Establishing group, consisting of 12 items, 1.2.5) The Changes group, consisting of 16 items and 1.1.6) The Emerges group, consisting of 17 items; a total of 93 items and 2) guidelines for strengthening and developing the leadership of Thai female administrators, consisting of 19 items. The scenario of leadership of Thai female administrators in primary school in the next decade fidings revealed a great future.
